Felt our general play was better this half than Leicester but there's still not much threat in the final third. Merino done okay, I'd like more from those around him.

I still remember the days when I enjoyed their coverage. You'd find better quality in your local these days.

A lot of what we saw in 22-23 has been coached out the side

We're too risk averse with our buildup. I think some of it is the manager and some of it is a mismatch in profile from positions you need risk in.

Maybe I’m just taking my frustration with dogmatic managers out on Postecoglou. Feels like we have so many coaches in the game today living in this post-results reality. You’re a football manager, not an artist doing a residency. If you can’t win games with Plan A, come up with a Plan B.

Been a long time coming too. I'm shocked how they've sorta sleepwalked into it.

I'd say there's been a shift since MLS has come in, in the sense the LHS has good dynamics and we're attacking down there again, but it's only 2 games. And today it didn't lead to enough threat.

I don't like this small pitch Clive. This team doesn't have an even coverage of players who are adept at the intricate play. Lock our right side down and you stifle us.

It frustrates me mostly because I know we can struggle to create chances. Just one goal feels like a massive task.

Even so I felt we were fending them off by that point. Penalty was huge because we struggled to keep the ball.

Second came shortly after a stonewall Southampton pen was ignored. Lucky Liverpool.

Sloppiness aside, we're awfy slow and risk averse. Wonder does Rodgers have Wednesday in mind.

Pep if you're reading this Billy knows nothing about ball and what you need is more smol bois in there.

I felt during the treble season they became much more of a moments team, a la Real Madrid. Now with their stars injured or misfiring they look badly a balanced side. Especially in midfield.

He needs to get the approach right at tournaments, otherwise I'd take a chance on Moyes who could take us further.

These people are entirely online. They're so far removed from anything real you can't engage with them if you're not also absolutely unhinged by the psy-op that is modern social media. Good riddance I say.

Keep him until form dropsa and let Sinisalo play cup games so we can see if he's ready to step up when needed. Really happy with our GK situation.

Constantly clicking "see less of this" for stuff you don't want to see and clicking "see more of this" for stuff you do. As you follow more people and interact more the algorithm will get more accurate. Consistency is key.

Loan him back. All our midfielders are playing great and I think regular game time will benefit him more. He won't take long to bed into a solid structure given his talent.

Partey and Rice both settle into the back line when at least one of them should have stepped up. I think Partey was free.
