Went grocery shopping today (Canadian here, btw), 1st time ever checked the labels: Product of Mexico, product of Mexico, product of Mexico, all in the basket. Weird one: Yellow hot peppers labelled: Product of Mexico or USA. What the heck is that? Grown on the border? Or in US, with Mexican hands?

It's Feb 1, and no tariffs yet. On top of the retaliatory measures that Canada will kindly offer, remember that Canadians navigated through crisis like 2008 recession & Covid pandemic in a much smoother way than our Americans cousins. I expect the same if a fratricide trade war starts. Peace!
