During my time in the military, I worked on communications and navigation equipment, both airborne and ground, so I have some engineering/tech/electronics knowledge that I carry over to Hyperia. I also share Sanji's cooking skills and Hyperia's coffee snobbery (just to a lesser extent in my case).

Sanji's is mostly a bunch of recipes, botany notes, observations made during his explorations, and sketches. It's very random in a neat, organized way. Hyperia's is lots of technical diagrams and notes on all the new technological discoveries made. It's very organized and some is written in Allagan.

my ffxiv hot take is that it needs more castles/castle adjacent places to gpose, and that raids need to be added to explorer mode expeditiously. i cannot overemphasize how much gpose is the actual game for me, and that i require QoL features to revolve around that fact
