Two previous guitars... some non-conventional "asterisk" bracing on one back. Good tone... but substantially more sustain, so I went in after the build and downsized it.. Next time a much "lighter" mass... and no brace up the center spine. The other is the traditional bracing. best, ray

You GOTTA have a good Roubo bench. This is a split-top. An awesome challenge to build, and a wonderful gift to yourself. A great 3-dimensional clamping surface... heavy and solid. Red Oak / Mortise and Tenon woodworking / lutherie / high and lonesome sound Best, ray
