My favourite imaging target on the Moon, the Apennine mountains and Hadley rille, landing site of Apollo 15. The rille has an average width of only ¾ mile and is a great test of conditions and equipment. Taken with my Edge 8" with a x2 Barlow in quite good seeing #astrophotography 🔭

Close-up view of the "Straight Wall" This is a fault in the lunar crust, forming a slope with an inclination of about 10°. It's about 70 miles long. The small crater at the "top" of the fault is 3 miles across. To the left of the wall is Rima Birt, a volcanic channel about 1 mile across 🔭
