Just back from the match. Great result. I thought Tonali was really good today, Gordon and Isak were too. Barnes doesn’t look right to me, he doesn’t look happy. I sit close to the pitch and you can see it in his face. Longstaff still infuriates me 😂

I coach my sons under 10s team with a mate. We both received a lovely message from one of the mams this week, thanking us for improving her son and helping him deal with his emotions as he’s been through a few things recently. I’m buzzing and it makes it all worthwhile.

The highs and lows of being a grassroots football coach. Basking in glory after a 7-1 win midweek. Depth’s of despair today after a 15-0 thrashing to a team that look like Newcastles youth team. 3 injuries and 5 kids crying their eyes out after receiving their first real taste of physical football 😂

It’s the boys 10th birthday tomorrow, it’s also his first day at middle school. He has Type 1 Diabetes and I am absolutely bricking it as he now has to be more responsible for looking after his blood sugars. He’s a proper good Geordie lad and just gets on with it. So proud of him 💪 #nufc #t1d
