I think there's a lack of acknowledgement of the "darkness" of humanity in the #solarpunk stuff I see. Please, let me explain. Humans aren't perfect, and even in the best of circumstances, they'll make mistakes. Sometimes, those mistakes won't even makes sense, and they can be very deadly. 1/?

Women with very short hair are so hot

Finally visited a psychiatrist. It was so nice that the person I met was such a pleasant guy. Hopefully, this'll mean I'll finally get some good medicine for my ADHD and sleep problems

Saw Folding Ideas recommending Mars Express, so I decided to check it out, and holy crap. One of the best #sci_fi movies I've watched. Strong Ghost In The Shell vibes all the way through. Mastapeece. Highly recommend

For #solarpunk enthusiasts, how do y'all first get into it? For me, it was when I had a discussion about it with my buddies. I always enjoyed stories about the persistence of hope for a better future, and I thought it'd be fascinating if a solarpunk world is born from the ashes of a cyberpunk one.

Any #solarpunk enthusiasts on this site? I've been trying to build my interpretation of Solarpunk and has thus read a few books on capitalism and anarchists as a start. However, I don't really have anyone to discuss this with so far so I hope this post might reach the right peeps!

I just finished Act 3 of Arcane Season 2. I can already see the absolute sea of arguments about the ending by the time I wake up tomorrow. I think it's gonna take at least a few months, possibly over a year, for people to settle down on a more cohesive opinion about season 2.

Uhhh, I am not sure why so many people are following me so suddenly, so I guess I'll say hi. Hallo. I am but a humble man running a writer's server for Malaysians that's chock full of queers and yappers. We're also running a small publishing label called Sundry Scribes, primarily on Medium. :-D

I guess I should make an update post. The new project I spoke of, Sundry Scribes, has been live for about six months! It's a platform created in r/Malaysia Writer's Server to help Malaysian writers reach a wider audience. It's been going well, but it's been a struggle to attract more members to join

I wish I have a guiding star. I feel lost.

For April's Sundry Scribes publication, we have four works. An analysis of the spy film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; a look at the satisfying rhythm game Hi-Fi Rush; one man's musings on generative AI; and an office horror story. Their links and summary will be attached below this post.

Today marks the official launch of Sundry Scribes! It is a program and a collective for Malaysian writers founded by r/Malaysia Writer's Server. Sundry Scribes aims to encourage Malaysian writers to write and broadcast our unique voices to the international stage.

Last night, the second-to-last stage of this writing project is completed! Gosh, I'm so happy. I tempered a lot of my expectations, but to think I didn't need to at all! Everything worked out nicely. I can't help but be a little more optimistic about our next step.

There's nothing more painful than just waiting for the people involved to be ready before we can do anything at all...

Will be conducting a discussion with two groups of people soon for the sake of the project. Honestly, I'm just tired at this point. I want to get it over with so I can return to writing my story.

Women in handsome sci-fi armor.

Fuck live-action remakes. We need animated remakes. Who's with me?!

Though, despite our success with the name, it has been pretty stressful juggling multiple different things. Gonna take a short break before resuming my task at hand for the malaysian writer thing

Oh, forgot to mention, but me and the team *finally* arrived at a name that I'm happy with and most others are, too. Now, the first step toward our very own Malaysian writers collective has been solidified.

Loneliness, a picture wished to be shared but has no recipients.

Coming up with a name is hard, but coming up with a name to represent a group of people accurately and have a personal responsibility for the outcome is something else. I wish I have the brain of a philosopher and a linguist professor combined for this shit

Working on a very exciting project related to Malaysia and writers. Can't wait to make the big reveal. (Hope we can find a good name for it soon)
