Over the last few weeks, I've made several phone calls, fully expecting to get a machine voice telling me a list of options, only to find myself talking to a real live human being right off the bat. It's very disorienting. 🙂

Hey, Hollywood, how about a Micronauts Cinematic Universe? Plenty of people remember the Micronauts fondly, and I'd imagine the rights to the IP are cheap right now. Plus the Micronauts world lends itself readily to an all-CGI production, so it'd be inexpensive to produce. What do you say?

I regret to report that of the first batch of seeds we planted a month ago, only three banana peppers are still alive. I gave the rest a decent burial today, by which I mean I added them to the compost tumbler. 🙂 I'm a little bummed, but I expected to have some setbacks, so I'm not too discouraged.

Last night Adrienne and I attended a fundraiser for Hilliard schools. They'd hired a pair of pianists to play requests in exchange for donations. So I paid them to play "Never Gonna Give You Up," thereby rickrolling hundreds of people at once. I regret nothing.
