I remember reading Nevil Shute's 1957 novel "On the Beach", & later watching the 1959 movie. Australians partying with reckless abandoned while quite literally awaiting the end of mankind... I wonder when the real party will start, if there's anyone left to attend.

Advice to both the federal & provincial governments: Free up a boatload of $ for research. It's the perfect time for the north to south brain drain to reverse flow. Canada (and the world) will be the better for it!
