“Joy is an act of resistance” i repeat to myself as i have a bowl of Coco Pops at half past 11 at night.

Never seen that one. It was last summer already and it was a fantastic event in the Linenhall in Belfast. Looking forward to talking more about the North later in the year. #IrishArchives

Despite my dire lunchtime efforts this behemoth climbed back over 100k after a productive evening. Over the yrs I've ditched massive sections & characters. Changed names, locations, and more dialogue that I thought possible. However, it's still the same story? This is the Trigger's broom of fiction.

I've 40 mins for lunch. Often write while eating. Good to switch off the brain from work during the day. After the edit of last night's progress, a small rabbit hole about the Fulani people of Niger, I was left with some solid progress. 12 new words. 12. There is a reason it's not finished.

That absolutely tulip across the pond knows nothing about the world. It's extraordinary just how badly informed he is. He is a vacuous abomination. Anyone with a passing interest in EU politics and the future of European security had all eyes on Germany as the polls closed.

Thus offshore usage recreates the surrounding landscapes; like a poet I know who finds his lines by glancing along titles on library shelves, so the fisherman low among the waves raises his eyes and picks words off the land with which to write sentences on the sea Tim Robinson

Times flies. We're approaching the 10th anniversary of when we first sailed to participate in Op PONTUS in the Southern Mediterranean. A life marker. A before & after. Those 84 sailors who went south, where not the same who came home again. Yet we came home. Many never did. youtu.be/DmbVw2vhA5w?...

As a teen, I read through the boxes of books my older siblings left behind. Buried in Tolkien and Feist from young, 10/11 having graduated from Asterix & Tintin! I distinctly remember finding Durango by JB Keane about 14. An awakening to Irish writers and poets. A home fire with flame eternal.

Public libraries are amazing! Did you know you can borrow a book from any library in the country and return it to any other library? Did you know they have subscriptions to huge amounts of national and international media that you can access?

There will be. Most probably a Multi-Episodic film, but connecting the life of the son, to his parents. The son giving up his own life and goals, in order to pay a debt to the dreams and idealism of his parents. A script in the works.
