In case y'all missed it, an immigrant was deported for no reason, the US government is refusing to bring him back, they are defying a judge, and they are now accusing him of a crime of which he's actually previously been cleared as an excuse to leave him to die. And he is one of DOZENS so far.

One of the hallmarks of Trump, his admin, and abusers in general is they do a whole bunch of immoral/unethical/illegal stuff, which they escalate into something so egregious that people call for the most egregious crime to end, but become more lax and permissive around the other stuff.

Marco Rubio just announced 10 more people were sent to be imprisoned in CECOT. They were flown there from Gitmo to be imprisoned potentially for life based not on any crime for which they were convicted, but on unproven allegations of gang membership with no due process. This is not lawful.

Remember: Cass is not peer-reviewed - and is therefore not “gold”, silver, bronze or even recycled plastic standard. IMO it’s just pseudoscience. There are now at least five damming, peer-reviewed critiques of Cass; all automatically of a higher standard, with at least two more in peer-review.
