For the love of all - adding alt-text is not hard. And it is vital for people who use screen readers. If you don't, and see a lot of people reposting your content with "added alt-text", you are part of the problem. The original is what gets shared far and wide, not the correction with the alt-text.

I am trying so hard to do this. I am not perfect. I have started to think of social media like a crowded area. You can hear a lot of people, but the majority of them are not talking to you, and you are eavesdropping on their convo. If you wouldn't barge in on a convo in person, don't do it online.

So amid all of this, my company was sold and I have to do my I-9 verification again. When I went to schedule the appointment, any date/time combo gave a note "Selected date is not recommended by DHS/USCIS." Great. Super fun. I could still schedule it, but that's nice and ominous.
