#discworld I know it's not Discworld, but I've just read "A Stroke of the Pen" by Terry P. Highly recommended for short bursts of fun SF/Fantasy - think about 20 stories from memory. The longest one, Quest for the Keys, is the most Discworld like. You cna see the future coming 😎

This might be controversial, but I much prefer Stirling Castle to Edinbrough's. Smaller but less crowded, amazing Great Hall and the history is there in the walls.....

If you are in Southern Scotland anytime, I highly recommend visiting Falkirk, the Wheel and the Kelpies are great. We went to the Kelpies in bad weather (don't just drive past on the motorway) but it sort of added to them, especially when the sun broke through for a few minutes.
