I *really* want to know when they walked back from doing this and what their reasons were for doing so, because they waited *DEEP* into production of Dead Language before they stepped back and you can absolutely tell from the story.

The one thing I miss about science fiction that got fazed out around the 90's was the notion of these planets that were space faring societies but also people who lived in castles and rode horses and had knights and princesses and swordfights and stuff.
