Just got this comment on my new short film. Made my day. Check out Sloppy Seconds below! It’s my love letter to the vibe and style of Tales From The Crypt!

I don’t do this often, but, hey @crobertcargill.bsky.social! I know you dig the nostalgic style of Tales From The Crypt episodes and movies. If you have about 12 minutes, I’d love to show you my film heavily inspired by that series’ style!

I finally posted my short film, SLOPPY SECONDS, on YouTube! This film answers my question “What if I directed an episode of Tales From the Crypt?” It’s had a fun festival run, and even got distribution on Tubi. But, now you can see it right here! #horrorfilm #shortfilm youtu.be/SpDTfmGn8dM?...

This is our pitch trailer for the upcoming feature film: PARASOMNIA! Just in time for the 3min increase to videos on here. Do you want into experience our nightmares? www.ParasomniaTheFilm.com

Small men always grow angry when they are confronted with the type of man they wish people saw them as, but can never be.

I am emphatically disgusted with our crybaby, petty leaders today. I hate that I keep being surprised by this expected train wreck.

Oh dang… apparently horror is “THE new hot genre in Hollywood” according to NetworkISA! Wow… how did we get so lucky for this amazing news?! Somebody tell @joerusso.bsky.social so we can get this word out!

You guys are all watching Mythic Quest, right? Cuz, it continues to be amazing.

People are posting their acceptance into Killer Shorts, and it’s just another year of my work being almost good enough. Top 20%, but only the top 15% were accepted. This creative journey truly is getting way too hard. Gatekeepers don’t even let me get rejected by audiences, so, I don’t have a career

Just rewatched Escape From New York. Once again, it feels exactly like where we are today. I wanted to watch They Live, but, it’s not streaming anywhere. So, I settled on Robocop.

The richest men in the world are on stage with Trump. The real dividing line in this country is not between right and left, it’s between oligarchs and the people. The rest is a distraction — And it’s how they keep power.

Wait… LinkedIn has a video feed, now? Did I miss something somewhere?

My fellow Cishet white dudes: It's going to be very easy to put our heads in the sand the next two years and just look away for our own well being and sanity. But we can't just look away. Our trans friends need us. Our queer friends need us. The women in our lives need us. They can't win this alone.

I don’t trust it. I’m all out of bubble gum.

I totally The Wolfman. It was a really interesting introspective approach to becoming a monster and the terrorist the people around you go through. As a lifetime fan of the original Wolfman, I thought this was a really unique approach. Plus the cinematography was just fantastic.

Damn… Thanks, David Lynch. You taught us how to capture and embrace our creativity and self expression. You will be missed.

I had to rage quit Twitter yesterday. I couldn’t handle the dogpile of hate and vitriol on every post that I found enjoyable, entertaining, or helpful. I’ve also joined RedNote, and found that to be quite joyful and welcoming.

I’m sorry, but, all you film bros and self-entitled movie “critics” are wrong… Lisa Frankenstein is great. Shame on you for now knowing how to have fun with a movie that takes its own fun seriously. Learn how to judge movies on their own merit. If you don’t see craft and intention, you’re blind.

Here’s the deal: if you post “Worst Movie” lists, I’m probably going going to block you… it’s just gross and conceded. Hate begets hate. Expectations ruin discovery. Nobody sets out to make a bad movie. Speak with your wallet, not your opinions. That’s how things change in entertainment.

My fave Christmas Eve movie tradition: Die Hard on 35mm at the New Beverly.

Followed up with Violent Night. Not a bad Christmas double feature.

Currently eating pie and watching Christmas Bloody Christmas on Shudder. This is what brings me joy.

I was once Eeyore at Disney World. I embodied that character. Everyone tried to cheer me (him) up with lots of hugs. Now, on my 42nd BDay, I can't escape this feeling of being Eeyore. I'm bummed, sad, and lonely.. but, I'm also loyal, compassionate, and empathetic. Thanks for noticin' me.

I never realized how beautiful and introspective Edward Scissorhands truly is as a story. It was ahead of its time, delving into internal emotions of empathy, sympathy, grace, and compassion, and how anyone with a selfish agenda can turn something beautiful into a monster. That was a nice watch.

I love how different these two recent reviews are for one of my horror short films. One guy really gets me… and the other was bored. I feel validated, somehow. #filmsky #horrorsky

Love that this film is getting popular again. That will really help as one of my comparable films for the one we’re currently pitching. 👻👻👻

I made a Christmas horror short almost a decade ago. Surprisingly, it’s pretty popular on my YouTube. So… I’m thinking of doing a sequel for Matt the Christmas Demon! Here’s the OG. But, I’ll Be Alone For Christmas II: Matt’s Back! may be here soon! youtu.be/doqxQNpUxOs

Ok, here’s my #FirstPageFriday post for #ScriptSky! It’s the opening page of my slasher film, RAINING BLOOD! Would love to interact more on here as opposed to that other place. Looking forward to meeting more filmmakers/writers/horror peeps!
