100%, there are never enough pets. Especially in scifi. Why does the future rarely include animals?

I think I’ve mentioned this before but only if the pet isn’t in danger or harmed! A good example is Chuck in the Monsterous series by Lily Mayne! He’s just a little guy. I like that he needs a baby sitter πŸ˜‚

Happy Bond with Your Dog Day, lovelies! πŸ’¬πŸ“š Do you enjoy pets in books? πŸ’™πŸ“š #QOTD #BookishQOTD #booksky #readersky

Hey lovelies of #booksky and #readersky, I'm back with another #can'twaitwednesday over on my #blog This one features Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸŒΆοΈ You can check it out here: readintowonderland.blogspot.com/2025/05/cww-...

I'm really starting to enjoy writing a romance with thriller elements

A peak at my shelf! It’s not done yet so I haven’t posted about it yet πŸ˜… Definitely black but I also have a good amount of red! πŸŒˆπŸ“š πŸ’™πŸ“š

There’s a trend rn with people revealing their β€˜government name’ on TikTok Remember friends, no one online needs to know your real name unless that’s your brand They also don’t need to know where you live, your family’s names, your age, your birthday You can still be authentic while staying safe

Hello lovelies of #booksky and #readersky, I'm back with another #top5tuesday over on my #bookblog πŸ’™πŸ“š This week, I'm discussing my top 5 reading spots You can check it out here: readintowonderland.blogspot.com/2025/05/top-...

Outdrawn by Deanna Grey made me want to learn more about the process behind web comics #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹

Book 24 of 2025 πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸŒΆοΈ On Loverose Lane by Samantha Young 4.5 ⭐ πŸ“± I found every spare moment I could to pick it up! All of the characters will bring a smile to your face. I didn't love the unnecessarily thrown-in major event right at the end #booksky #readersky #2025reads πŸ“šπŸ’«

I've been focusing on new authors a lot this year. Some of the newer ones on the 'buy more' list are Ciel Pierlot, Cat Sebastian and Laura Laakso

Happy Tulip Day, lovelies! πŸ’¬πŸ“š What cover color do you have most on your shelves? πŸ’™πŸ“š #QOTD #BookishQOTD #booksky #readersky

Most authors are new for me πŸ₯Ή Everything is new! I can't get bored!!! The book world is my oyster!! Ahahahaa!! ..*ahem* Anyway, I recently read 26 Knots by Bindu Suresh and The Island of Books by Dominique Fortier. Both short reads, both from Canadian authors! πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸ‘€πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

I’m currently reading 2 new to me authors! Saara El-Arifi’s Faebound for book club and Ashley Poston’s a Novel Love Story, both of which are amazing so far πŸ“šπŸ’™

Happy Monday, lovelies! πŸ’¬πŸ“š Who is your most recent new to you author? πŸ’™πŸ“š #QOTD #BookishQOTD #booksky #readersky

Oh I didn’t catch this one! The Fox and The Dryad by Kellen Graves! 🩰πŸ₯€πŸ¦Š

Oooh so many great books have florals! I’ll go with Forgotten Vows by @authorlilymayne.bsky.social πŸŒˆπŸ“š πŸ’™πŸ“š πŸŒΆοΈπŸ“š

A book series near and dear to my heart as a kid was the Geronimo Stilton series That anxious mouse and his wacky family brought me endless entertainment #BookishQOTD πŸ“–πŸ¦‹

This week's #freeforallfriday is the folklore #booktag on my #blog because it honestly seemed like a lot of fun πŸ’™πŸ“š If you are a #swiftie, I'm sure you'd love this challenge You can check it out here: readintowonderland.blogspot.com/2025/05/folk...

Happy National Public Gardens Day, lovelies! πŸ’¬πŸ“š What is a book you love with florals on the cover? πŸ’™πŸ“š #QOTD #BookishQOTD #booksky #readersky

I do 😎 I know I have read books that had characters who played the piano or acoustic guitar (sorry, I don't remember as it was a long time ago). I love the Japanese #manga (and #anime) series #YourLieInApril where both main characters play musical instruments. #QOTD #booksky #readersky

Today and tomorrow are #stuffyourearbuds days! πŸ’™πŸ“šβœ¨ You can get over 115 audiobooks for free on May 9th and 10th (awesome, right?) You can check them out here: romanceaudiobookworms.com/home I highly recommend doing so on a desktop or laptop

In many ways, but a recent outlier that kind of surprised me is making and trying foods mentioned in booksβ€”and I'm not typically what one would call adventurous. Most recently "Howl's Moving Castle" inspired honey on bread: simple, yes, but I'd never thought to try it before. #BookSky #BookishQOTD

I loved to read in bed as a kid, I still do now

They let me know that other people value the things I do. Hope, comfort, compassion, respect, kindness, friendship, diversity, inclusion, equality. Fighting back.

Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams made me laugh so much. It blended comedic elements seamlessly into the story. The meddling town and family will always do it for me

Book 23 of 2025 πŸ’™πŸ“šβš‘ The Party by Natasha Preston 3.75 ⭐ 🎧 It didn't have as much of a through-narrative as I would hope. That said, I quite enjoyed the setting and tension it brought about #booksky #readersky #2025reads πŸ“šπŸ’«

Happy Make a Book Day, lovelies! πŸ’¬πŸ“š How have the books you've read inspired you? πŸ’™πŸ“š #QOTD #BookishQOTD #booksky #readersky

I absolutely do!! But I know I miss out on some great books just because their covers aren’t appealing to me.. I can’t get myself to pick one up unless it’s a direct recommendation from a reliable friend 🀣

Shiny covers definitely catch the eye, and sometimes a really good cover will make up for a mediocre blurb. I do try to also check out books -despite- the cover, because some really good books have horrible or misleading covers.
