Currently reading Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates. Wooosh. Maybe I was uninformed or sheltered or naive but extreme misogyny feels like it’s right out in the open these days and less in private chat rooms. I have to take a break after every chapter for my mental health.

I’m kind of torn now about going back to TikTok if it is resuscitated, especially at the hands of a certain president elect. I don’t like the pandering from TikTok to the incoming president. Just remember nothing comes without strings attached when you are dealing with people like that.

Finishing this book yesterday to then be banned and silenced on an app is frightening. This dystopian novel, Vox by Christina Dalcher felt eerie and way too possible when I was reading. Now it’s starting to feel real. #booksky

December Reading Wrap Up: I read 18 books in December. My favorites were The End of Men by Christina Sweeney-Baird and The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren. I read a bunch of holiday themed books to help me get into the spirit, it worked a little. Happy Reading!
