I wonder if Mike Lawler realizes that the new SALT bill penalizes married couples — a married couple filing separately can only take a deduction of $20k each. However, an unmarried single person can take the entire $40k deduction. This is clearly anti marriage. @chrislhayes.bsky.social #salt
