Oh hey, Marvin Bagley’s a Memphis Grizzlie. That’s fun.

Invest in Steph Castle stock, it’s easy

That felt like a Mike D'Antoni-type of game. high-energy/uber smallball madness.

This Mavs/Lakers game rules. It feels like something I’d watch in 2020 with Mike D'Antoni involved

Bump

The trust Minnesota has given to Terrence Shannon and Rob Dillingham lately will pay serious dividends a year from now. I like what those two provide as bench creators

I’m not sure if the stats support it but I don’t feel like I see this level of fast break emphasis too often from the Celtics

The Nets are a scrappy bunch man

The Suns have the sixth most games to reach clutch time (30), and now the second most clutch wins (18-12). At least that’s a positive for their season.

Alright, so who does JJ draw the play up for with the game on the line? *Note: probably not Rui tonight*

Successful non-Tatum minutes ✅. Kept it above 10, now just have to keep it that way and let Point Tatum lead the charge

Missing pairs of free throws at home, not great!

Kristaps’ touch off the glass in the high post is au-to-matic

Jayson Tatum: so cool

Celtics have done an excellent job stretching the floor out when Wemby’s in

These are some mighty fine minutes from Bol Bol

Jayson Tatum is an ethical hooper in its purest form

The JT heater is so contagious that Porzingis hit a rare corner three

Speaking of defense, Derrick White has been EVERYWHERE

Really solid defense across multiple possessions from Baylor Scheierman

Luke Kornet is a very good basketball player

designing a new celtics jersey after every win ☘️ record: 37-16

Words on Boston's big blowout victory at MSG. That is two wins on the road against the top-seeded Cavs and 3-seeded Knicks this week. Maybe they should just play away games all the time.

It’s actually wild to think Harden and Simmons are now on the same team

At least the Stay Ready group could get stops. Mavs dogwalked Boston all night through their off-ball action. Too much double-big, too many turnovers, too many misses at the rim. Just brutal. But out of a win streak and a big game over Cleveland, I can cut a slight bit of slack

Getting a mid-game Shams tweet relating to the Celtics is an interesting sensation. Torrey Craig, a very popular C’s buyout candidate, makes sense. Veteran that’s shot the 3-ball well the last few season, sturdy/smart perimeter defender. Should be a fine addition to the deep bench.

#freemarcussmart

7 first quarter turnovers, many of which were live-ball. Not great!

Shit’s different when Derrick White is out of a slump

We are getting a Cam Johnson trade today…right?

Can’t hate that addition for Cleveland. Hunter has been fantastic in a bench role. Career-best 3P efficiency on the highest volume of his career, and has stayed healthy. Cleveland loses a little depth giving up two rotation players but it’s a clear upgrade on the wings

Strong draft stash, foundational talent in LaMelo and Miller, now you have Dalton Knecht, who very well could also become a foundation piece. The season ahead may not be pretty, and they may have a serious lack of frontcourt options, but there is hope, and room to build something for Charlotte.

Isaiah Collier’s last 6 games: 13 PPG, 8.5 APG, 3.5 RPG, 3 TOV, 55% FG

Nice value for Sacramento. Jonas off the bench provides some strong interior/post defense for a team that could use it. Wizards turning two trade pieces into a pick swap, pair of seconds and two prospects works for me as well, even if Kuzma wasn't a "sell high" situation

I personally would love to see Oshae Brissett back in Boston

I’ll remember Jaden Springer’s defense fondly

The race to 40-20 is in good shape for the Celtics

Man, a 20-20 night, multiple key plays down the stretch against his former team, the board on the Booker missed FT. Has to feel great for Deandre Ayton

Luka’s last postseason in Dallas saw him get constantly hunted by the Jays that’s hilarious

We just received the biggest late-night NBA trade alert since KD to Phoenix. Holy mother of god, how could Dallas think that’s a good deal

Tatum and Brown hit their clutch shots. Certainly some late-game execution to complain about, but not from those two. Sheeesh, that was a gem from JT

Celtics are leaving an unbelievable amount of points off the board from their 4Q free throw shooting. Just can’t do it. It’s from good shooters too.

You know, this has been a really nice month for Scoot Henderson. Still see those lapses and moments where he traps himself w/o a clear plan, but also seeing him figure out ways to impact the game more consistently. Maybe not the Morant-type I expected but he’s taking steps forward in his development

The Jays are so cool

Jaden Springer is 6/13 from three in his last five games. He’s getting into Oshae Brissett territory where you can live with his open shooting and the inconsistencies that follow but also get to thoroughly enjoy the absolute demon energy he displays on the defensive end

Porzingis has one of the prettiest big man jumpshots I’ve ever seen. So quick, so automatic.

Post-trade deadline we're going to be seeing even more of Donovan Clingan, and I expect to see more plays like this when that does happen.
