It is what it is 🫂 When life gets in the way, there's so little you can do to change it. It's not worth it to stress about it. You're progressing, even if it's 100, or 50, or 10 words at a time. Every word on the page is one less to the end.

We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.

Yes! When you're querying, you wish you had an agent, and when you're on sub with your agent, you wish you had a quick book deal, and when you have a deal I'm sure there's this comparison for so many other reasons. Exhausting, really!
