I think 2 years ago? I was at a tiny Lobbycon, 1am after a cube draft, and these dudes with packs approached me and asked if I wanted free packs. I was already hesitant, cuz they had like a brand and everything. And the clause was to sign up to their app and help them auction packs for 5 minutes

I absolutely hate all the Whatnot ads I get with dudes yelling at my face in baseball caps about how much money their slabbed Pokémon cards are worth. It’s such an incredible turn off to the whole hobby.

I was playing mtgo last night against a really really good player. And they made a play I wouldn’t have made ever, and put me in a pretty tough spot. They’re at 11, and have a 3/3 Tersa. 2 cards in hand, like 5 mana. Profts Memory is in play. I am at 9, with a 4/5? Hearth Elemental, and 2/2 Monk.
