My first NAS server is assembled! Not pretty? Check. Old case with terrible cable management? Check. Old power supply? Check. Molex to SATA adapters? Check. Questionable motherboard? Check. Fans at max speed and it's loud? Check. Old, mixed capacity desktop-grade HDDs? Check. But hey - it works!

I just found out why pihole is not effective on my phone and tablet. For some reason, Google refuses to use my default network DNS for either the Google App or Chrome. Btw I turned "private DNS" off everywhere. I should have expected it tbh, but it's hella shady

What an awful excuse this is. Sure, nuclear power is expensive, but it will absolutely make up for it in the long term. It's the best option to complement solar and wind energy as long as other sustainable technologies aren't viable. And don't get me started on calling nuclear "dangerous".

I hope the Switch 2 will be less of a bitch with docking when not using the original dock and charger combo. I have a 65W GaN travel charger and a generic HDMI dock, but I can only use the Switch with 'em when I use the original dock w/ 3rd party charger OR original charger with my other dock. Why?!

Finally got a case for my small home server. Look how cute it is, secured by the monitor's VESA mount! Don't wprry about airflow, the side next to the was has perforations. And this machine never got past 50°C in open air. Now I'll have to shell out for a good motherboard for the big NAS server...
