Everyone is explaining that they/their partner/their child is not THAT kind of autistic, but also-- None of those things RFK Jr. lists determines the worth of a human being. None. The ones whose inherent worth and dignity I have trouble recognizing are RFK Jr. and his ilk.

Cut up cabbage, broccoli, sausage, counted out frozen pierogis. Was in the kitchen for ages. Oven wouldn't get hot enough to cook the broccoli or cabbage. :( Repair person coming out Friday.

I'm listening to a DOJ spokeswoman on NPR tie herself in knots trying to justify/obfuscate the reasons behind the deportation of student protestors and of people who never received an immigration hearing. I hope she is, one day, as deeply ashamed of herself as she is making me of my country.

PSA: If I am the 2nd or 3rd car back from the red light, honking at *me* the *second* the light turns green isn't going to get you anywhere any faster. I can't go anywhere until the car(s) ahead of me do. This is the stuff they should teach in driver's ed, I swear.
