The birds got a win today in Jupiter and Thomas Saggese (aka Thomas the Italian) is the Redbird Rundown Podcast player of the game! He got two hits and scored twice. He’s off to a good start with spring with a .318 average and .830 OPS. Can’t wait to see him in St. Louis!

Let’s be honest. It was a real bad day for the offense. Donnie was a bright spot, but Fedde showed out! 3 IP, 1 K, 0 hits, 0 runs. So far so good in spring with a 1.50 ERA!

Could’ve gone with a couple guys today, but we will highlight Luken Baker, who’s has been quite productive in the minors. A big fly today for the big guy. Will he ever get the playing time to prove he belongs?

plit squad game equals two Players of the Game from the guys at the Redbird Rundown podcast. VS2 continues to torch spring training adding two more hits today while McGreevy turned in 3 very good inning. “Youngry” guys show out!

Following up my 10 hot hitters of spring with pitchers who shoved but then underperformed when it counted. A tougher list because pitchers work in shorter stints or face minor league hitters while working on things. Fun to look at either way! #STLCards redbirdrants.com/6-cardinals-...

Who’s hot in spring training?? 🔥🔥 Willson is off to a great start! He’s put on 15 pounds of muscle and looks to put a career offensive year without the catching duties. So far, so good!

Time for a new Cards podcast in your life! The guys catch you up on all things Spring Training and then back up and give you the full overview of the NL via over/unders. open.spotify.com/show/34tHOLz... podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/r...

Willson is going OFF in spring training. He’s carrying more muscle and able to focus on hitting much more this year. A BIG year could be brewing for him. Add in another highly productive day from VS2 and today was a good day in Jupiter!

Nolan showed out today! In an 8-4 win, we powered the offense. VS2 had another good day and Libby tossed in 2 scoreless innings. It was a good day in Florida!

Honestly, I thought it was clear that VSII would head to Memphis to continue getting consistent at-bats. Yesterday's impressive performance shows he's an actual contender for the major league job #STLCards Story: redbirdrants.com/victor-scott...

f you heard a big thud today, that was the Cardinals offense in Florida. However, McGreevy turned in two sterling innings against the Yankees starters!

Not much scoring today, but Vic did it all! A monster homer and speeding around the bases for a triple. Quinn Matthews faced Toronto’s starters and turned in two scoreless innings. A good day for a couple “youngry” guys!

Jordan Walker went 2-3 with a double and a single. Add in a big fly from Luken Baker and 2 scoreless from Matz to a 7-4 win and it was a good day in Florida!

🚨🚨🚨 New Episode Dropped 🚨🚨🚨 After a check in on everything spring training, the guys use Vegas over/unders as a springboard to preview the AL. From the top of the league to the White Sox, they cover it all! open.spotify.com/show/34tHOLz... podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/r...

Not a great result on the scoreboard, but two clean innings each from Mikolas and Roby and an oppo taco 🌮 Werherbomb 💣 made for some good highlights!

The pitches are not, but Jojo’s hair is in midseason form

Spring training is the time of year where you’re like…yeah it’s 11 (and counting…) to 5, but Wetherholt hit a homer so WHO CARES

Granillo not looking better at the moment. But also this camera angle for spring training games…woof

WERHERHOLT OPPO TACO 🌮 (Spring Training, small sample sis, blah blah blah, BUT CMON GET HYPE)

GETTING GAME DAY VIBES

It’s a big over in all our hearts, but realistically, over or under???

We love to see it, right guys?!

Rick Ankiel was an incredible talent I think we all agree that if we could do his career over again, he could well be in a red jacket now. Besides Ankiel, if you could redo another Cards’ star-crossed career, who would it be? (Photo credit to syracuse.com)

Nothing too crazy in this space! What is your hottest take about the Cardinals this year? We’ll go first! Lars Nootbaar will be an all star this year and get down ballot (8th-10th place) MVP votes!

Nolan Arenado has reported to camp and is saying all the right things. This is a good sign after a winter of weirdness The pod guys have two questions to consider about Arenado. Is he destined for a red jacket? And, more importantly, will he get into the baseball Hall of Fame?

Spring has sprung in Jupiter and the Redbird Rundown guys are back with a Spring Training primer episode. Are the “youngry” guys ready for primetime? What, if anything, matters from Spring Training? open.spotify.com/show/34tHOLz... podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/r...

Which historical Cards logo is your favorite?

What “under the radar” Cardinals player did you absolutely love more than you should’ve? For us it was Will Clark. He always had that stony, serious personality. We will always remember imitating his voice and personality with our dad.

The Redbird Rundown guys have been to about 2/3 of MLB stadiums. This is our tier list. What’s yours?

Column: it’s no time to squabble up. It’s time for the #STLCards to roll with Nolan Arenado. www.scoopswithdannymac.com/bernies-redb...

What’s your favorite food item to purchase while you’re taking in a game at Busch?! We’ll go first. We haven’t seen them in a while, but they used to have massive ice cream sandwiches called the Big Kahuna. Top notch stuff!

New video from The Bernie Miklasz Show: The Cardinals have built a House of Mirrors, and don't seem to know how to get out of it. #STLCards ... thank you for your support of my work. youtu.be/BOnDHBh452E

As pitchers and catchers begin reporting to Spring Training, what is one surprise and one disappointment you expect to see on the pitching side?
