So—I'm thinking—what if I started adding more em—dashes to what I write—just to keep people guessing. The Apple input for an em-dash (—) is option + shift + hyphen. The Windows alt-code for an em-dash is ALT-0151. (Just rolls off the fingers, right?)

Took a spill on my bike, broke the fall with my shoulder (with a valiant assist from my head). Now I'm at the A&E (Emergency Room) getting an X-ray of my shoulder. It's been a bit of a wait, but the people have been friend and helpful, and I don't think I'm leaving with a bill.
