Breaking down a deep block especially with a man down is extremely hard. This is why I think that Liverpool’s comeback against Fulham at home (incredibly unlucky not to win it actually) was under appreciated. To be a goal down and a man down and feel gutted not to win the game is rare.

An attacking personnel problem at the moment, but the bigger problem is the overarching and excessive leaning into of the dark arts shite by Arteta. Completely stifled his own team. The numerous red cards are testament to that, even with shit refs taken into account. #LFC #ARSWHU

Won't be any correction on the likes of The Jeremy Vine Show where this shit was amplified and repeated. Same right-wing shit stirrers will be on again, unchastised, undiminished, and their reputations whitewashed.

You'll see the players hyper-focussed with the prospect of an eleven points gap, and you'll see the fans loosen up a bit with the points breathing space. It's a fantastic scenario, which should produce not just results but also performances in the next two games. Fingers crossed. #LFC

Eases it I think. Tomorrow is a free hit. Win and that's probably the title. Lose and Arsenal can only close it to 5 points as we emerge from our toughest fixtures and they enter a really sticky run.

We're about to emerge from our roughest patch of fixtures and have the opportunity to go 11 clear tomorrow. Fixture list gets kinder (on paper) after Newcastle.

If Liverpool play at a ~70 point pace for the last 12 games, they'll end the season on 83 points. For Arsenal to get to 84 points, they'd need to play at a ~98 point pace.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a very real and a very lovely 8 points gap. We got this. #LFC #ARSWHU

Will be interesting to see how that depleted attack of Arsenal's reacts under the stress of a 1-nil deficit. Alot different to a game-state of nil-nil. For what it's worth, expect West Ham to shit the bed, and Arsenal still get the 3pts. #LFC

He nails it.

Who'd have thought the fella who shamelessly twerked his arse for the West Ham top job in a desperate attempt to get #LFC 's attention would be an absolute bag of wank? 🤣🤣. Man Utd gotta be the biggest suckers and marks in football when it comes to recruitment. Hilarious. #EVEMUN

Good managers adapt and build the plane as they fly it. Klopp, a 4-3-3 man, played Origi as a right winger in a 4-2-3-1 formation in his first few months at #LFC and reached two finals before he got to buy anyone. Utter bilge this, "He needs to stick to his 3-5-2 principles". #EVEMUN.

This is where not buying that midfielder in the summer could bite us. We're rotating 4 (quality) midfielders for three positions. Problem is, he doesn't fancy Elliott; Endō is just a cameo at the end of games; Morton and McConnell not experienced enough/not to the standard required. #LFC

Not a time to lose your nerve as a #LFC fan, particularly a match going one. 7 out of last 12 at home...that's the advantage, that's the x factor. Time to embrace this and roar the lads on the pitch over the line. Shite atmospheres wont cut it. #LFC

Those 7 at Anfield are big (and only 5 away) and start to swing it in our favour after a tough run of fixtures. Feels like we've been on the road forever. We only need 8 wins. Get it done at home, go undefeated away, and neutralise the home game against Arsenal, and it's done. #LFC

It's not an exaggeration to say Watkins should've had a hat-trick in that Arsenal game. Missed two open goals. #LFC

We're fretting and stressing because we feel we should be ahead with a double points lead and that's frankly fucking mad...but I totally understand it. We do need to give our collective heads a wobble...titles aren't meant to be easy to win. You don't blow leagues away like 19/20 & 87/88, you grind.

Love the choice of picture. Salah suffered zero fouls according to the ref tonight.

#LFC getting drawn against a red-hot PSG in the last 16 has never been more nailed on has it? The one year they're decent and we land them, any money.

Correct. We contain Villa fairly well. We had hard lines tonight but we aren't giving ourselves the best chance to pair performance with result by conceding twice off of an opposition's low xG. Needs to knocked on the head, as I see a fucking super-efficient Isak sized problem coming next week. #LFC

Robbo & Trent were excellent. Wasn't a bad performance, we just have a habit of conceding from very little at the moment and pair that with Jota being fucking weird and Nunez being atrocious and it's a recipe for dropping points. Need a blow-out performance and result to get our full mojo back. #LFC

This. Navigate these fixtures with as little damage as possible and then reset for the last 10 games. I'm as guilty as fuming in the moment, but we need level-heads as fans. Going to be loads of noise around us. Block it out and get behind the lads. They need the 12th man. #LFC #ASTLIV

We had 8 corners and honestly, might as well not bothered. Zero threat. Indeed, we are more dangerous on an opposition's corner (from the counter-attack). Big lads and not one of them gets a run on the ball. Virg passes with his head like Modric in open play, but no where scoring at corners. #LFC

I know these are tough fixtures, but we're going to have to tighten up in this run-in if we're not going to make this harder than it needs to be. We started the season with plenty of clean sheets-need to find that again. Seem to be getting punished with every minor mistake. #LFC #ASTLIV

Never mind the finish. The lack of effort from Nunez is more damning. Wouldn't run to warm himself. Pathetic.

I've defended the lad to the hilt, but I can't anymore. Darwin's not even doing the basics. Doesn't even run around pressing like he used to. Can't have passengers. Gakpo can't come back soon enough. #LFC #ASTLIV

Has Badenoch even mentioned what's going on in Ukraine? And someone else quiet on it is Boris Johnson. Remember him? The 'great friend' of Ukraine (when it helped his popularity); no where to be seen or heard on their plight now. Funny that.

If 3rd goal comes from either the Salah offside goal or Jota's disallowed pen, the narrative is completely different; we keep a cleansheet & becomes a regulation win, unmemorable because of #LFC 's ruthless efficiency making it all total banal. Let's not be panicking; lessons would've been learnt.

It wasn't jittery in the first half. Never been so chilled watching a match with something properly on it. We were measured and controlled. Team lulled itself into complacency by trying to rest in game after an intense derby and ahead of a tough week, which is understandable, if misguided.

Maybe I'm judging others against my completely apathetic patriotic self here, but in my experience, immigrants are way more into the patriotism thing and certainly the royals. If anything, almost over compensating to fit in. Also applies to the ex-pat Brits and Brits born in the former colonies.

Pretty much everyone had a stinker in that second half, but I thought Nunez was particularly poor. Twice hid from crosses from Macca (run towards the ball, lad, even if you don't get the ball, it draws a defender out) and couldn't hold up shite. He's gonna have to be better in this run-in. #LFC

8 more wins from the last 13 (and of course, a few draws) should do it. Everybody chill, the Reds have got this. #LFC #LIVWOL

I dunno...all seemed like a lot of emotional effort *looks at table* just to stay exactly where you where at the start of the weekend, but with a game less to make in roads on #LFC. But you knock yourselves out #AFC.
