played through ninja gaiden 1 again. i really like this game. this game has a perfect balance of being so difficult it's funny, and insanely well designed levels. they're extremely difficult to someone playing for the first time, but when you learn it, everything just flows and it feels so good

one day late last year, my discord screenshares randomly stopped having audio even though i changed nothing. checking this option makes it have audio, but it's very quiet. i wish i could keep it unchecked and have audio that sounds normal again. does anyone know any kind of fix for this?

god i love damn near anything that comes out of a DS speaker. DS games had some of the best music out there in my opinion (not including mega man zx advent). maybe it's because i grew up with the DS and have a lot of nostalgia for it. i've had my DS lite since i was 3 i think lol

i really hate that the gamecube's game boy player, which nowadays is worth like $200, has so much input delay that it makes everything damn near unplayable. i'm super sensitive to any amount of input delay, and the game boy player has some of the worst i have ever seen

the mega man 10 prototypes let you create a "greeting card", which i'm assuming would be sent to anyone you play online with. if the feature actually made it to the final game, mine would probably look something like this lol. i have no idea how to unlock the other backgrounds and icons though
