Trump fired an experienced, competent Air force general: Charles Quinton Brown Jr. A black man with heroes for ancestors. He is replaced by John D McCaine. A white guy who told Trump "I love you, sir. I think you’re great, sir. I’ll kill for you, sir." while wearing a MAGA hat.

I feel it's important for Europeans and Americans to keep in close contact in these dark times. Both sides will be continuously attacked by misinformation on social media. Russia and now also the "Trumpers" will try to divide us. Don't let that happen. We must remain united to fight fascism.

The blocks we seem to have on the global stage now: the US essentially joined Russia, China was already leaning towards Russia, but will remain independent and opportunistic. India also seems close to Russia. Is Europe alone now? Maybe. The more reason to try and survive though.

Trump essentially pulled the US out of NATO. So what will happen now with US troops in, for example, Greenland? And all over Europe? Now Trump is in bed with Putin and turned full fascist mode, all that doesn't feel comfortable anymore for Europeans. How about gradually moving in European troops?
