The only Silver Lining of Musk mucking about with these massive pieces of infrastructure is learning about how they work, like why Social Security is stored the way it is. You would have thought he already had these kinds of conversations though.

Is there such a thing as corporate Learned Helplessness? I’m spending 20 minutes this morning writing a job in a Glue notebook to transform their bad data. Am I the problem? It’s faster the fix the data than it is to explain the problem to them, but maybe it costs me more in the long run.

Playing #skyrim on PS5, without mods. I forgot how buggy the game was. I got locked out of the College of Winterhold quest line. I think I was feeling nostalgic. But the politics of Skyrim are oddly prescient. I wouldn’t be the first one to compare the Stormcloaks to MAGA.

Apple Intelligence screwed up summarizing my Netflix notifications pretty badly. The Shows are coming on Nov 9 and 10. And “Rewatch Available” is maybe the worst way to summarize what that one was saying. I am afraid of what the news summaries look like. #appleintelligence
