...It feels like we're on one big road trip, but, you know, we've been okay away from home. I do think, you know, it takes its toll, but everybody's going through it in some way, or form. So we don't ever really kind of complain about the schedule."

I asked Finch about the first stretch like this back in January: "I mean, we're not one to complain about the schedule. We don't play two games at home until the end of the month. I it'll be over six weeks. You know, that is a little unique...

Yeah it includes the next 4 games which are Houston, OKC x2, Lakers. After that the schedule gets SUPER easy

Here is a good explanation from @crumpledjumper.bsky.social about SSQ (graphic from his Twitter account)

I know stats like the one above can seem convoluted, but what it's saying is that on an average shooting night, the Wolves would have had 1.11 points per FGA instead of .85 for 27 missing points.
The Wolves also had more problems in the Bucks game than just missing open shots

I'm not sure there's going to be any good or bad takeaway from tonight's game

The refs and your friend clearly saw it differently though so they must be calling it according to the rule book. That's why though I think the rule needs to be changed or tweaked. Just don't think that play getting called a charge is good for basketball

With legal guarding position, the NBA rule book uses the phrase "beat him to the spot" which I would argue Prince doesn't do when he shifts to the left.
I would argue TSJ does try to avoid it with is euro-step but Prince goes from shuffling back to stopped after he gathers the ball

I mean, I'll defer to anyone who has a good understanding the rule book like that, but if that's a charge I really think the rule needs to be looked at. Just don't think defenders should be rewarded by getting in the way especially when they are still moving laterally like that

No, they aren't paid off. It's just a really tough call to make especially with how the rule is written so it leads to inconsistent outcomes.
The defender in that video used to play for the Wolves and got that call all the time

I'm a pretty big anti-charge person. I just think the game would be better if plays like this were eliminated. Don't award defenders for purposively trying to get in the way of the offensive player

That's not to say poor shooting was the only problem. The Wolves shot selection and defense could have been better.
I thought the biggest issue though was falling down by 16 so when they went on a 13-0 run, they were still down 3 when they should have been up by 5-10

Yeah the Wolves would have the ability to bring back Randle with a new contract if they want. Would just depend on what he gets, do they want to be above either apron, and what do Naz/NAW get

Hard to argue with that given the regular season, although both team are relatively inexperienced in the playoffs. Teams like Boston, Denver, and LA will try to out-experience them
