Donte DiVincenzo is listed as questionable for tomorrowโ€™s game against the Lakers. It appears he is close to returning. Anthony Edwards is also listed as questionable. Randle and Gobert are still out.

Last night, the Wolves pulled off the largest comeback in team history on the road against the top team in the Western Conference @yoleo.bsky.social and recorded a pod right after the game with our reactions. Apple- podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t... Spofity- open.spotify.com/episode/361H...

The Wolves and Thunder play again in Oklahoma in less than 20 hours. Insane

Since the Wolves took a 5-point lead with 8:11 left in the game, OKC made 5-6 three-pointers to go up 11. Thunder consistently generating good looks from there, shooting 54.5% on 3s. That and the injuries may just be too much to overcome for the Wolves

Jaylen Clark a +20 in this game meaning the Wolves are getting outscored by 27 over the 18 minutes he's not been out there

Tip-off for Wolves-Thunder is pushed back to 8:50. These two teams play each other in Oklahoma in a little over 22 hours. A crazy travel situation for these two teams

In the last 4 games, the Wolves have shot 45-168 (26.7%) from 3. Not the only issue, but poor shooting has cost them tonight and against the Bucks before the break.

Chris Finch all the way back on November 27th: "Itโ€™s like Groundhog Day. Weโ€™re playing the same game every night. We get down, fight back, run out of gas, canโ€™t close. Thatโ€™s what weโ€™ve been doing." The Wolves have continued to lose in this exact fashion all season

It's the second stretch this season where the Wolves go 3 weeks without back to back home games (a whole month if you include the All-Star break). This time it's 8 out of 11 on the road. In late Dec/early Jan they had 11 of 17 on the road.

Conley, Edwards, and Gobert are questionable for tomorrow in Houston. DiVincenzo and Randle are out. Seems like the All-Star break came at a good time for the Wolves considering how many guys are still on the injury report

Wolves announce that DiVincenzo has been cleared for non-contact basketball activities and Randle has been cleared for 5-on-5 basketball. Both are still listed as OUT as they continue rehabbing www.nba.com/timberwolves...

Last Thursday, the Wolves had one of their best wins of the season, taking down the West-leading Thunder with four veteran players out of the lineup. In many ways, the game represented what the future Timberwolves could look like. I broke it down โฌ‡๏ธ www.canishoopus.com/2025/2/19/24...

Synergy has a stat called Synergy Stat Quality (SSQ) that determines how likely each shot is to go in for an average shooter. Wednesday against the Bucks the Wolves underperformed their SSQ by .26 points per shot, their second worst shooting performance of the season

The Wolves have one of the five easiest remaining schedules in the NBA including easiest in the West.

The Wolves have had a lot of "just one of those nights" lately. Nice to be on the other end of one of those from the Thunder. Wolves played great all night to take advantage

That 3 by NAW breaks a streak of 13 straight missed 3s by the Wolves

Wolves miss back-to-back wide open 3s, both leading to layups on the other end. Lead is down to 4. Have to start knocking down open shots at some point if they want to win this game

Two charge reviews in this game furthering my narrative that they should re-work the charge rule. Just so hard to officiate and the collisions aren't good for the game

Ant with a monster dunk and it has woken the crowd up

Anthony Edwards is IN tonight against OKC.

Chris Finch says Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert are OUT. Anthony Edwards is a game time decision

I'm honestly just confused how this was called a charge, especially after replay. I know the official said Prince was in "legal guarding position" but I'm not sure how that's true when he slides to the left as Shannon euro-step around him

Rewatching last night's game, I thought this sequence was a good encapsulation of the game. Ant and Rudy both miss layups, Bucks hit a 3 in transition. 5-point swing

Chris Finch all the way back on November 27th: โ€œItโ€™s like Groundhog Day. Weโ€™re playing the same game every night. We get down, fight back, run out of gas, canโ€™t close. Thatโ€™s what weโ€™ve been doing." The Wolves have had this type of loss over and over this season

๐ŸŽ™๏ธTwo Words: Wolves Pod๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez have won in the arbitration case to become the new owners of the Wolves. Now What? @yoleo.bsky.social and I discussed that and more. Apple- podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/a... Spotify- open.spotify.com/episode/4uZ0...

I think this is a deal to keep in mind when thinking about Randle's $30.9 million player option this summer. If Toronto is willing to give Ingram that, makes me think there will be a team willing to give Randle enough for him to decline his option

With this loss, the Wolves are now 0-7 against the teams with the 4 best records. They are 12-5 against the next 8 teams Probably points to them been a good to really good team, but a fairly big step below the elite teams

The Wolves have had two 3 on 1s in this game and didn't score on either play. Their efficiency on fast breaks has been awful all year

I still think this was true for the first ~6 minutes, but became less true as the quarter went on. They missed a good number of open 3s, but they are down 24-2 in paint points which can't be blamed on shot variance

Honestly I think the Wolves are getting pretty good shots, just cannot hit a single thing

How is that not a transition take foul?
