Just finished Women Race & Class by Angela Davis. 🌕🌕🌕🌕 4/5 A fantastic history lesson spanning 1830s-1900s, the abolition of slavery, the black and women's suffrage movements. She focuses on the solidarity and conflicts between the movements. Highly recommend. 📚💙 #Booksky #reading #politics

My favorite book is Blankets by Craig Thompson. Such a gorgeous coming of age memoir. It's about Craig's childhood growing up in Michigan, his wrestle with his faith, and his first love. Reading this in the middle of the ocean in 2023 was like a big warm hug. I felt seen. #booksky #graphicnovel

I'm seeing #20bookchallenge love the idea quite a bit, and love seeing the books people are passionate about. I wish I had 20 books that I felt strongly for. I have several, but to get to 20 I'd have to lower my bar. But it makes me want to read more so I can find those books to be passionate about!
