Hey, I’m quitting “textual” social media, at least for some time. Instagram works for my photography. But in written, I get maybe a like for every 10 posts, a reply for every 50? I’m not popular, I’ll never be. I’m tired of talking to a wall while I know most read this and secretly react to it.

On social platforms where they cram content suggestions in your face, you ever just mute someone not because their material is bad, but because you liked one of their posts once and now their other posts suddenly appear too way too often, as if the algorithm thinks that’s all you want to see now?

At a workshop for an app from Toronto used at an electronic music festival from Montréal in Tokyo. One strong Canadian influence here is the bilingualism. They hired an interpreter to do translations in real time. Neither English or Japanese is treated as second class. Japan could learn from this.

Okay, so here’s my complaint about 1Password. I use it as my SSH agent. Good. But when I use SSH in the terminal, it kicks me out of the terminal to use Touch ID. I wish it would just prompt me for my finger in the terminal instead.
