This airplane and helicopter crash was horrific and reminded me of another that took off from Reagan Airport and crashed into the 14th Street Bridge over the Potomac, on January 13, 1982. It was cold and icy on that day and Air Florida Flight 90 was not deiced before take off, which was the cause.

Even not knowing what started the LA fires, I know that we need to start building for wildfires and give up on the lush green lawns. Climate Change is no longer something in the future, it's already here and we need to adapt.

I hear that Trump is being inaugurated on the east steps to the Capitol, which was last done when Jimmy Carter took the oath. Reagan changed to the west steps to accommodate a larger crowd. The east steps has a far smaller viewing area, so the crowd will only seem larger. Trump's ego stroke I guess.
