What the Trump Administration has done to Kilmar Abrego Garcia sets a dangerous precedent. My full statement:

I am horrified by the violent attack and fire at the Governor’s Residence — and relieved to know that Governor Shapiro and his wife and family were rescued to safety in the middle of the night. (1/4)

Chag Pesach Sameach — Happy Passover to all celebrating! Wishing everyone a reflective, family-filled, and joyous seder.

Last month, the President announced tariffs on our closest allies, then changed his mind shortly after. This month, he announced massive tariffs on more countries — then changed his mind again. This isn't policy. It's chaos, and it's not working for the American people.

Ending the week with some local pride! ⚾️ Victus Sports in KOP is the official bat maker of the MLB — and they’re making quite a splash with torpedo bats. The team was kind enough to send me a custom PA-04 bat — I'm sure it’ll come in handy the next time the grandkids want to play baseball! 😎

President Trump's on-again off-again tariffs hurt every single one us. People saving for retirement, for their child's education, for their family's future. This is madness.

Ensuring that seniors can live in their own homes safely, and with dignity, is a noble cause.   I was glad to meet with Visiting Angels, headquartered in Bryn Mawr, whose home care services help meet the daily needs of our seniors.   Thank you for visiting our DC office!

As new tech emerges, Congress must protect Americans' privacy, dignity, and identities from AI manipulation. That's why I'm leading the NO FAKES Act with Rep. Salazar, Sen. Coons, and Sen. Blackburn. Thank you to those who joined us yesterday — for speaking out and supporting this fight.

Virtually overnight, people in my district — and all across the country — saw their 401Ks, college savings accounts, and other investments disappear because of the President’s reckless tariffs. I will continue fighting back.

Another day of uncertainty with the Trump administration. This is not policy — it’s chaos.

The Dept. of Education was born out of civil rights — to correct the injustice of separate and unequal education.   Last week, I joined Sens. Hughes & Haywood, on the anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination, to stand against the Trump Admin's Orwellian ambitions of less education for the people.

Libraries are a source of curiosity, joy, and community. I was delighted to kick off National Library Week with Upper Dublin Library! At a time when book bans are on the rise and the Trump Admin has gutted the Institute of Library & Museum Services — we must support our libraries and librarians.

The stock market is in free fall.   Americans are seeing their retirement savings disappear overnight.   Donald Trump created this economic crisis, but it's American families and businesses who are paying the price.

Mission Kids is devoted to protecting children facing abuse and ensuring justice. My office helped secure HUD funding for their new training facility — which broke ground today! Under one roof, social workers, law enforcement, and other experts will be even better prepared to help kids in need.

The metaphors, excuses, and meandering explanations are *meant* to confuse you. We must be clear: prices will go up for Americans, and it will be the direct result of the President's import tax hikes.

We need answers. We need resignations.   We need the Trump Administration to do better — before American service members lose their lives.

On Trump’s reckless tariffs…

Thank you Ursinus College President Hannigan for coming to my D.C. office last week! I was excited to hear about Ursinus’ plan to build and grow — and I’m looking forward to working together to ensure Collegeville remains a great place to live, learn, and visit. Go bears! 🐻

President Trump promised to bring prices down — the very opposite is happening. As we brace for new tariffs, American families and businesses are lost in chaos and uncertainty.

Pennsylvanians deserve access to quality, affordable healthcare — no matter where they live. We must fight any attempt to cut Medicaid, which would force rural hospitals to scale back their clinical and nursing home services. www.goerie.com/story/news/p...

Rural letter carriers deliver for more than 80,000 routes nationwide, keeping rural communities connected. Thankful to meet with National Rural Letter Carriers' Association in D.C. last week. The Postal Service is an American service older than our country — we must protect it from privatization.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility — a day to honor, celebrate, and stand in solidarity with the trans community. Visibility is power. Let's continue to uplift, support, and advocate for a more inclusive world!

The Trump Administration's mishandling of sensitive military plans was a staggering failure. Republicans have devolved into "what-about-ism." It's time for accountability. It's time for answers.

The Trump Admin is about one thing: giving more handouts to rich people by stealing from the rest of us. The President and his buddies put their greed above the lives of seniors, Americans with disabilities, and working families. I won't stand for it — I'll keep fighting.

The State Department paused — then unpaused — funding for exchange programs, like Fulbright. Yet, organizations still can't access their funds, meaning Americans abroad are without resources they were guaranteed before leaving. I led a letter with Rep. Chellie Pingree to find out why.

Pete Hegseth and Mike Waltz must resign. Immediately.

Great to meet with Reading and Philadelphia representatives of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. NATCA workers keep people safe in the air and on the ground. We must ensure they have the appropriate staffing levels and working conditions they need and deserve.

USAID saves lives. President Trump's decision to destroy USAID will cause people to die from famine and treatable disease. Thank you to the witnesses at @houseforeign.bsky.social's hearing today — for your work at USAID and for your continued fight on behalf of the vulnerable.

The Trump Administration’s reckless mishandling of classified military plans put our service members at risk. I call for a full investigation.

Medicaid protects the health of millions of Pennsylvanians, including more than 1.2 million children.   Now that I'm back in DC, I’m grateful to carry the perspectives of healthcare providers, caregivers, and recipients — people who understand how essential this care is for families.

Rain, sleet, sun, or snow — we rely on USPS. Your work keeps Americans connected. I will always stand with the National Association of Letter Carriers as we fight against the privatization of the Postal Service.

Always happy to be back at my alma mater, Abington Senior High, especially for our bright student task force! The intelligence and care that our students bring to their studies and their lives is inspiring. Our students are our future — and we’re in good hands.

Medicaid cuts will cause real harm to real people. Seniors. Children. People with disabilities. People in recovery. Low-income families. Thank you to Montgomery County HHS, healthcare providers, caregivers, advocates, and patients for sharing your stories.

As DOGE upends our federal workforce, I’m especially mindful of the harm to the VA. I’m grateful for the insights of our Veterans Advisory Panel — who understand how the VA functions and how we can improve this indispensable care. That must be our goal.

People deserve to hear from their representatives. It’s our responsibility to hold town halls for concerned neighbors, whether we agree or disagree. I’ll keep listening — I urge my GOP colleagues to do the same.

PosiGen brings affordable clean energy to homeowners, especially those in underserved communities. I stopped by their Conshohocken facility to learn more about their solar panels. Thank you for the tour — and for your passionate service to Pennsylvanians and our environment.

Because of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Pottstown’s Keim Street Bridge is getting long-needed upgrades! The bridge, which connects Montgomery and Chester Counties, was closed in 2010 due to safety concerns. I’m delighted that construction has finally begun. 🚧

Research universities contribute remarkable progress to medical research. Federal support for these institutions — including in PA — is critical to health and science. I was glad to meet with the Association of American Universities and share in your mission to fund education and innovation.

Medicaid provides coverage for 100,000 Pennsylvanians struggling with addiction. In the midst of an opioid epidemic, we should be supporting communities with investments in treatment, research, and education — Not stripping healthcare from our neighbors. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Fair housing is a right. Advocates like the Regional Housing Legal Services ensure that right, protecting tenants and homeowners. Yet, DOGE is stripping these groups of critical HUD support. We stand committed to the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! May today bring you love, light, and a bit of luck. 🍀

As Trump and Musk gut services for veterans, seniors, and children — investing in affordable housing is more important than ever. Thank you to PA Housing Finance Agency for a thoughtful discussion about ways we can support working families and boost homeownership.
