My heart breaks to learn that my friend and colleague, Sylvester Turner, passed away last night. Sylvester served his constituents and our country with the compassion and humanity we should all aspire to bring to our lives and work. My heart is with his loved ones and the entire Houston community.

Thanks to the NIH Special Diabetes Program, we have made life-saving breakthroughs for Granite Staters living with Type 1 diabetes. I am proudly fighting for the federal funding that fuels medical research and scientific breakthroughs, pushing us closer to a cure for diabetes.

My reaction to President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress ⬇️

Thrilled to have Andrea Packard, a dental assistant serving patients in the North Country and a student at NHTI-Concord's Community College, as my guest for tonight's Joint Session of Congress. 📺 A message before tonight's address:

My statement on reports that President Trump and his administration have frozen all United States military aid to Ukraine.

I have heard from our mayors, small businesses, teachers, students, health care workers, first responders, farmers, child care providers & so many others about the pain that President Trump’s actions are causing. NH families, small businesses & farmers will pay the price for these blanket tariffs.

NH farmers are the bedrock of our communities & our local food networks. They work hard enough without having to deal with the uncertainty caused by the Trump Admin’s chaos. Appreciate NH farmers & the Littleton Food Co-op for meeting with me today to discuss how I can fight for them in Congress.

From running into burning buildings to exposure to dangerous chemicals, our firefighters put themselves in harm’s way every day to keep us safe. Great to meet with Professional Fire Fighters of NH to talk about how Congress can help ensure our first responders have the support they need to thrive.

Appropriations laws are law. Period, full stop.

I can be best at my job of representing you in the People’s House when I hear directly from you.

The incredible women & men who make the vital work of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard possible are essential to keeping our state & country safe. I have met with shipyard employees & heard firsthand about the devastating impact that lawless actions of the Trump Administration have had on their lives.

These kids are amazing! Had a blast this morning at Salem High School talking with students who are part of FIRST Robotics teams across New Hampshire. Thank you to Dean Kamen and everyone who makes this innovative program possible.

The energy yesterday at the Keene Public Library was inspiring. I’m grateful to the hundreds of Granite Staters who joined us. We have lots of work to do to lower housing costs, protect our healthcare, & deliver for our veterans & servicemembers. I’ll always give my all to fight for you in Congress.

The women and men of the Federal Aviation Administration and NATCA work tirelessly to keep America’s aviation system safe. I am grateful every day for the sacrifices they make to keep us all safe. In Congress, I’m working to ensure they have the support and resources they need to succeed.

🚨LOCATION CHANGE: Keene, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Please note our location change to Keene Public Library. I hope you’ll join us. 📣Community Conversation with Congresswoman Goodlander 📅 Friday, February 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM 📍Keene Public Library, Heberton Hall 📨RSVP: bit.ly/4bh1f7k

In Congress, I’m fighting to give our rural communities every opportunity to thrive, including ensuring access to safe drinking water and reliable wastewater systems. Grateful for the Rural Community Assistance Partnership (RCAP).

Great meeting with the American Legion Department of New Hampshire this week. From ensuring access to high-quality health care to ending veteran homelessness, I am proud to be a partner for New Hampshire’s extraordinary veterans.

I’m working hard every day in Congress to find ways to deliver for New Hampshire small businesses that support our Armed Forces and help keep America safe. 🇺🇸

In Congress and on the House Small Business Committee, I am fighting for the critical federal funding and support that New Hampshire’s small businesses — the beating heart of our economy — deserve.

To be the best possible advocate I can be for you in Congress, I need to hear from you directly. This Friday, I’m hosting a Community Conversation in Keene — I hope you’ll join us! 📅 Friday, February 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM 📍Keene State College (RSVP for full room details.) 📨RSVP: bit.ly/4bh1f7k

Our freedom depends upon a free press. I’m proud to advocate for New Hampshire’s incredible journalists, including New Hampshire PBS.

Last week, I had important conversations with our partners at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services in Concord and Dartmouth Health in Lebanon about the federal programs that help people across New Hampshire access quality healthcare.

I voted NO on the House GOP budget resolution that would: ❌Raise our deficit ❌ Lock in trillions in tax giveaways to billionaires & big corporations ❌ Pave the way for trillions in handouts to the ultra-rich paid for by ❗️Largest cuts to Medicaid in history ❗️Cuts to programs Granite Staters rely on

Incredible to meet with Rick Borrazas and Bob Guldner of Disabled American Veterans New Hampshire to talk about how Congress can support their important work on behalf of our veterans, including through the federal programs that make their mission possible.

🚨JUST NOW: The House passed my bipartisan legislation, the Small Business Advocacy Improvements Act, to equip our small businesses with the tools to compete internationally.

Three years since Russia waged its unjust war against the people of Ukraine, the fight for freedom and democracy continues. I believe deeply in the cause of freedom in Ukraine and will always stand up to Vladimir Putin’s aggression.

“With the U.S. Department of Education under threat, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander (D-NH) is backing the federal TRIO programs in her effort to safeguard funding for low-income students aspiring to further themselves beyond high school.” bit.ly/3EQ9B9X

Great to start the day with Jeff Chidester on WFEA to discuss my work bringing the voices of New Hampshire’s small businesses, veterans, and families to Congress. 📻➡️ 1370wfea.com/morning-upda...

I proudly served as an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve for over a decade. In that time, I saw firsthand that strong apolitical leadership in the top ranks of the military is vital to our national security. President Trump’s move to purge senior officers is deeply concerning and dangerous.

The Trump Administration is issuing new executive actions and orders every day that are hurting hardworking Granite Staters. Our team wants to hear from you. If you have been impacted by — or are concerned you may be impacted by — a change in a federal policy or program, please share your story:

Every student deserves an equal opportunity to pursue the American Dream. I loved hearing from students at TRIO Day in Nashua about their lives & dreams. Federal programs help make the dreams our kids are dreaming a reality & I will always stand up against reckless cuts anyone tries to make to them.

Harbor Care is a lifeline to thousands of people across New Hampshire. From housing our veterans to primary and preventive health care to HIV/AIDS care, the extraordinary providers and advocates at Harbor Care are making all the difference for Granite Staters.

Having a home is a cornerstone of the American Dream. So working to make housing more affordable for Granite Staters is one of my top priorities in Congress. I convened leaders and innovators from across New Hampshire to hear the best ideas for making that dream a reality.

I’m fighting with everything I’ve got for the federal dollars we need to support the incredible work of Nashua Community College and the hardworking people of New Hampshire.

Great start to the day in Nashua with George Russell, Lewis Chipola of VFW Post 483 Nashua NH, and Mayor Jim Donchess on WSMN Radio talking about working together to lower costs and deliver for Nashua and the people of New Hampshire.

Great to tour BA Sciences in Salem today to learn more about the growing New Hampshire Life Sciences industry and its tremendous potential for our state. Proud to bring the voices and priorities of New Hampshire’s small businesses to Congress on the House Committee on Small Business.

I will always stand up to protect what matters most to the people of New Hampshire. We are here to serve you. Contact our office by calling 603-226-1002 or visiting Goodlander.House.Gov.

I’m excited to be working with great partners in Salem, including Chief Dolan and Town Manager Joe Devine. I’ll always fight to ensure they have the support they need to keep Salem safe and thriving.

Fantastic visit to the Palmer Center at Alvirne High School in Hudson today. It was inspiring to see firsthand how their remarkable students, teachers, and administrators are putting federal funding to one of its highest and best uses: educating the next generation of Granite Staters.

Fantastic meeting this morning in Hudson. I was grateful for the chance to hear about the town’s top priorities and discuss how we can work together to deliver for Hudson.
