A place every American should visit: #OklahomaCity Bombing Museum & Memorial. Brilliant, powerful, and moving homage to the 168 lives taken by anti-government, supremacy-based hatred in 1995, and a tribute to OKC’s resilience during those days and weeks afterward and the community’s rebirth.

I was bummed that I didn’t make it back to #Alaska this winter but the low temp last night here in North Texas was the same as the high in Fairbanks this time last year. Broke out the snow pants and boots to wear around the house today. #Dallaska ❄️

A stroll and a meal through #Fairbanks, one year ago. I learned #Alaska grows a lot of #blueberries and that Blueberry Moscow Mules are refreshing after subfreezing walks. Oh, and the Museum of the North at @uafairbanks.bsky.social is 💯💯💯.

Continuing my deep dive escape back into the talk shows of my 90s teen years, one question: If a friend brought you to a national TV show to tell you a secret, why didn’t you know it would likely be bad? I’m shocked at all of the shock. 😂😂

It is Black History Month and each day this month I am sharing stories from Canada's Black history. Today it is the story of Phil Edwards! He was one of Canada's most decorated Olympians, a Canadian Army captain and a highly regarded physician. Let's learn his story! 🧵1/9

As someone with an actual PhD in geography, I am utterly disgusted with Google for this. What a joke.

Insurance companies believe in climate change

This weekend turned into a nostalgic comfort binge watching fest. Streamed Gimme A Break, Mama’s Family, Jerry Springer, Living Single, and Martin, and I found some episodes of The Facts of Life, Diff’rent Strokes, and Ricki Lake. I miss the 90s! 🥺😁

A place everyone should visit: Rohwer Heritage Site in #Arkansas, the easternmost internment camp during #WorldWarII. When I visited in 2016, it was an interpretive site where you could walk around and listen to audio of @georgetakei.bsky.social narrate his time as a child there. #neverforget

LOOK at all the daylight we will gain over the month of February in #Texas! Nearly an hour will be gained by the end of February in Amarillo!

A friend (also black) brought up an interesting point today. Question: Are any POCs removing profile photos from job sites (like LinkedIn) to better their chances with employers given the current national mood? #DEI

Posting for posterity.

Just thinking about that glorious time about a year ago when I flew by DENALI. My camera doesn’t do DENALI justice but DENALI was so majestic, towering above the clouds between Fairbanks and Anchorage. I need to get back to Alaska and see DENALI up close and personal some day. #Alaska #DENALI

Bonjour, Dallas! C’est une belle journée! #downtown #skyline #txwx

These pics of Mike the Tiger frolicking in the #sneaux are pure gold! #foreverLSU

Snow days in Baton Rouge were rare but always a blast! Neat to see the swamps under a temporary blanket of white.

Still locating tribes here in Blueskyland. Found my #oilpastel peeps! I really need to pick up this hobby again. #oilpastels #amateurart

Weird that my first post here is to mention I finished my first #65words post. @65words.bsky.social 🗣️🇧🇷
