The 2024 US elections mirror the trolley problem. From a Utilitarian view, voting for Harris minimizes harm. From a Kantian view, pulling the lever means directly supporting murder. Those who don’t vote for Harris aren’t evil—they just have different ethics.

This is not a war-torn countryside of a Ukrainian city. It is a photo of my Prague neighborhood that I took when I was about ten years old in the mid-1990s on black and white film. It would probably look the same on color film as everything was so grey during that time.

I left the Labour Party the day Rachel Reeves (still in opposition) declared they would deport people faster than the Conservatives. The distance between mainstream Westminster politics & collectivist, pro-human, pro-social values gapes more by the day.
