Still looking for homes before they have to go to the rescue. Raised in a home, did badly when taken to rescue, went back to home but can't stay past Friday. Breaks my heart that I can't take them, but my kitten room runneth over. GRRRR at the neighbor who wouldn't spay the outdoor cat.

I have an ask for a human friend today. My friend Morgan who I met via the vet hospital, who was an incredible source of kindness to me when Kent died, is a farmer with her husband here in NoVA. And she has Lupus as well as some other shitty autoimmune diseases that make it hard to be a farmer.

I'm at mom's house in Atlanta tonight & look what I saw in the back. My parents have lived here since the late 80s & I've never before seen deer in their yard. Bunnies, foxes, possums, raccoons, yes, but not deer. There was a 4th one behind these 3, but I only caught a fleeting glimpse of him.

@esp1371.bsky.social We have something similar in Augusta called Project Refresh. There are 4 sets of 2 busses. One bus is a mobile shower unit where people can get clean. They're given robes to wear while their clothes are washed/dried in the other bus. They can also get new clothes, too. 1/
