Btw it is entirely ok to ban someone from your community/stream/etc. that is giving you bad vibes even if they don't clearly break a rule. The overall safety, comfort and respect of boundaries of your community and yourself should be paramount. No one is entitled to be in your spaces!

Godot's shader reference is ok but it's kind of intermixed with tutorials, code & notes. I was constantly scrolling up/down and found it a bit uncomfy. So I made an interactive reference with some combiners and filters to only show what you need... #gamedev #godot #indiegamedev #indiedev #shaders

I'm thinking of starting small events on Discord, where people of any experience level can get together and make micro game prototypes. We get together, share our knowledge and help each other with any roadblocks (code, design, anything) and start to build lasting knowledge over many small games.

Disabled patients have a right to safe healthcare. When we ask staff to mask, we aren’t “entitled”. We’re advocating for our lives. We’re trying to protect our baseline. We’re asking for the respect we deserve. We can’t “just stay home” from the hospital. Masks should be mandatory.

I’m seeing a lot of soft takes from industry mutuals at the moment that we shouldn’t be so hard on those who use generative AI because it’s becoming harder and harder to resist. Wrong. Betraying your ethics (and your peers) because ‘everyone else is doing it’ does not suddenly make it acceptable.
