Hungary banned anything that “promotes homosexuality,” which means Pride. However, today over 500,000 people in Budapest told the government to fuck off. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I’ve read quite a few books / articles written by Christian theologians, exploring the role of the Church in politics. The majority -white, cis hetero males - adopt a centrist position, condemning right wing Christian nationalist ideology, but equally censorious of “left wing identity politics” /1

As a Canadian I find this deeply alarming. Trump is using the same Putin playbook (used with Ukraine) to create the narrative that Canada is an enemy and a threat; justifying more and more punitive measures against us.

Pay attention to your dog’s tongue when panting. It indicates level of heat and need for a break. Narrow & still inside mouth = I’m fine Wider & starting to emerge from mouth = getting warm but ok. Wide at end and fully outside mouth = I need a break to cool down before any more exercise

A woman at the dog park just complimented Chester saying “what a beautiful white dog”. I responded “He’s actually more cream with gray and mocha accents.” So you know… I feel I’ve done my part as a gay man for #Pride 🌈🙄

Chester has been at the groomers for over 3 hrs now. He’s going to come back to us looking like a skinned rat. Oh well, he’ll be a lot cooler and easier to keep clean. But I’m already missing my little floof head.

#DailyChester is overdue for his summer cut. It was supposed to happen last Friday - and then his groomer called in sick - so he’s rescheduled for Thursday. First they grow out their hair. Then they start hanging with hoodlums listening to rock music, riding motorcycles and overthrowing society.
