I'm going to build a stationary garden protecting robot. Solar powered with battery. Wifi and a camera. Plus a motion sensor and noise emitter. Some ability to make abrupt motion. What processor/platform would folks recommend? #electronics

Bad things come in threes: 1. Chip (8 pin) installed backwards 2. Inputs to said chip swapped 3. Wrong SPI mode Fab error, design error, software error All good now 🙂

#electronics Got some boards back from fab on Tuesday. One rail didn't come up to voltage. Took me until Friday to find the culprit. Chip installed backwards. Orientation marking was not as shown in the data sheet:
