My 20+ year veteran manager, promoted 6mo ago because of dedication and hard work, was in the hospital on Sun from complications relating to chemo, was called by my boss to tell him he needs to read the email that said as a probationary employee he's fired for poor performance. 1 of 10,000 stories.
