I find it helpful to ask the question—what's the next ribosome? During the origin of life 4 bya, a folded matter phase of proteins & RNA emerged from an autocatalytic carbon cycle. Then the ribosome acted as a "controller" to repeatedly create high-value proteins. What are the AI controllers now?
