Not seeing enough healthcare workers talking about this. It’s incredibly distressing to see Medicaid data being used to target undocumented immigrants. We’re already seeing more patients cancelling doctors appointments out of fear of ICE. This will only deepen people’s distrust and fear.

It's peak cherry harvest time in CAs central valley. This worker earns $6.50 per 23lb bucket of cherries. On a good day she can pick 20-24 buckets in 7 hrs-if she works as fast as she can. Peak season doesn't last long so she rushes to earn every penny. Her family relies on her. #WeFeedYou

L.A. TACO is working on confirming the total of vendors and customers taken by ICE but it's estimated that 40 to 50 of them were detained. A video shared from a vendor's son who saw everything unfold as ICE raided the Santa Fe Springs Swap meet. Tonight's event was cancelled. @janettev.bsky.social
