Norwich City Women FC Watch out, QPR ... she's coming for you! Last home game of the season on Sunday.

NP: 'Down And Out In Paris And London' by The Tangent I've not spun this album for a while, but it still sounds great! A much underrated band that deserves more widespread appreciation. The album opens with 'Where Are They Now' - which includes 3½ minutes of the finest prog intro you'll ever hear.

I didn't expect this quite so soon ... #OTBC #NCFC

I do enjoy music; it fills my days, my evenings, and half the night. Studio recordings are great; live performances can be incredible ... but I often come back to live studio performances or studio sessions and watch and rewatch them. A case in point: 'Is There Anybody Here?" by The Dear Hunter.

There seem to have been many of these spoof action figure posts floating around on social media of late, but few of them warrant reposting. However, this Picard/Trek one amused me far more than it should have.

I mostly buy downloads these days, but occasionally splash out on a CD or two ... in this case, it was always going to be a CD. Anyway ... "squee!" (or other similarly joyous expletive). The new album by Oak has arrived. #OakinOslo #ProgRock

A lovely start to Sunday, loafing in bed watching videos. This concert by the band Solstice is very entertaining and, despite Andy's ramblings giving it a 'live-at-the-village-hall' feeling, it's a great showcase for the current line-up; highlighting vocalist Jess Holland's engaging stage presence.

Here's a riddle - recite this limerick ...

I hope Robin's okay with me posting this here (as he hasn't done so ... yet). Here's his promo video for the new @cosmograf.bsky.social album 'The Orphan Epoch' (currently available to pre-order at: cosmograf.bandcamp.com/album/the-or...)

Thursdays, eh? I never could get the hang of Thursdays ... until now. It seems the answer involves a few hours in the pub with a mate; who'd have thought! It?

NP: 'Shadows Grow Fangs' by Ecce Shnak Hmmm, I'm not sure what to make of this. It's certainly interesting and I was enticed enough to play it through twice and I think I'll have to seek out some more of their stuff sometime. However, I have no clue how it came to be on my music to-do list!

NP: 'Time Silent Radio VII' by Echolyn I've definitely heard this band before, but I don't recall when/what. Anyway, nicely put together prog-tinged melodic rock. Very pleasant listening, but it's not really blowing me away! At times, the vocals remind me a little of Michael Sadler (Saga).

A limerick ....
