Imagine being an Article III judge and you get this email on a Saturday night lol

No other country has any reason to trust the USA ever again. It won't stop when Trump dies. Americans knew what they were getting, but put the scum back in power anyway. The taint is on the country as a whole. Sadly, as a Canadian, I have to say all Americans own this.

He nails it.

I don’t know how many different ways to say that agency personnel don’t work for Elon. They don’t have to report to Elon. They report to their agency leadership, which reports to the President.

Trump is ignoring legal treaties with trade partners. His message to the world: The United States can't be trusted for anything. We are not a reliable trading partner. Please take your business elsewhere.

This is how it’s done.

We wanted to know what the average Black person thinks of Donald Trump. So we asked the communications director of the Houston Young Republicans, who grew up in a mixed race family in a majority white Long Island suburb.

I'd love some intrepid reporter to call Trump "President Krasnov" at his next press conference to see how he reacts.

This is so many words to say Trump fired the chairman of the joint chiefs because he’s black www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/u...

The Georgia Republican who recently told CNN that school kids should be sent to work to earn school lunches was met with outrage and fury from residents at a local town hall meeting on Thursday night.

And we got finger-wagged by a New England journo "expert" for not staying in our lane and sticking to our knitting (his words) and leaving hard stuff to (paywalled) NYT and Wapo. So we were right, and we did the right thing, and we didn't need anyone's permission to make our own news decisions.

How it started. How it’s going

"President Trump is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life."

If you’re wondering why I declined to talk to the NYTimes, then you haven’t been following my account for very long. They bear a direct responsibility for the current situation we find ourselves in, and I responded by laying out my position and that I would only talk to @jamellebouie.net

How about that. projects.propublica.org/elon-musk-do...

The @nytimes.com changed the story and has now added this info after I caught them last night. This is why I screenshot these stories. There was no editors note added nor did they point out that a stealth edit was made. h/t @shoq.bsky.social

BREAKING: Canada defeats the USA to take home the #4Nations  Championship 🇨🇦🇺🇸 Canadian PM Justin Trudeau tweeted: “You can’t take our country — and you can’t take our game.”

“Unless something changes, the specter of bird flu’s devastation will hang over the United States indefinitely — as will the threat of other emerging diseases,” Maryn McKenna writes.

Orange Hitler is gonna deport legal immigrants too.

Last night, Trump promised he wouldn't touch Medicaid. This morning, Trump endorsed the House Republican plan to slash Medicaid. It's smoke and mirrors: Trump and Republicans are plotting to take away health care from millions of people to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.

He's not "right" or "wrong" about facts, he's lying.

Holy shit! You’ve got to see this town hall. Republicans are starting to get torn apart by their own constituents. Rep. Rich McCormick: “You don’t think I’m going to stand up for you?” Woman in the crowd: “You need to stand up.” Another woman: “Don’t bend over.” 🔥

No, the mail is not “the least of our worries.” It’s a fucking important worry. It is the only postal service that delivers to every address. They are only provider of complete mail services for overseas military bases and provide free overseas PO boxes. They help prepare passport apps. Ship meds…

worth mentioning again that senate democrats’ plan for strategic confirmation votes in exchange for blocking the worst nominees was a complete failure

Protests are taking place all over the country tonight against cuts to vital federal services. Here in Washington, people are marching to SpaceX’s offices demanding Musk be ousted from the government.

Today, we are all Canadians.

Tough situation. Maybe at some point we can amend the Constitution to provide a specific power Congress can use against an executive who’s unlawfully usurping its authority.

Don’t let these fuckers go anywhere without getting booed. Fuck polls. Fuck podcasts. Just show up, in person, to wherever these cretins go and boo the shit out of them

HELL YEAH BROTHERRRRRRRR

In addition to Congress being the place that makes the laws, pretty key thing, the constitution explicitly says Congress gets to create the postal system. It’s not left implied that that comes under law making generally. The President has no power to unilaterally abolish it and move it to commerce.

This would be completely illegal. But you wouldn’t know that from reading this post, the headline, or the lede. Unbelievably bad.
