Watching the most recent episode of "Mobland" and I finally decided to find out who sings the song over the opening credits. It's an Irish post-punk band called Fontaines D.C. and they are fantastic!

One week away from a date I dread: this will be the 10th anniversary of my Mom's passing. So much has changed for me the past decade, but I still find myself needing her input on decisions I have to make.

It's only Monday and this week is already working my last nerve. Hope nobody gets in my way this week. 🤨

Paid off a couple small loans last week and they sent me multiple emails to get a new loan. Just tried for the hell of it and got a "we will never, ever, ever lend to you again" rejection, but worded nicer. Oh, well, I tried.

Got confirmation from my current landlord that a new company is indeed taking over our building starting in May. They want us all to sign new leases, but I don't want to be tied to this apartment when I am forced to move due to my knees. Not sure what to do now.

Just found out that my building is getting a new management company starting in May. The current company has managed the building for around 30 years. This is going to take some getting used to.

Finishing the day watching a favorite silly movie: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. I laugh no matter how many times I've seen it. So glad I recorded it on TCM the other day.

Finally got a haircut (it's been 3 months!) and stopped at Target on the way home (don't judge me!) and now I'm home icing both knees. No laundry for me today.

Home from work today because I fell up the stairs coming home yesterday and went down hard on my left knee. It got iced and elevated and about half the swelling came down overnight. I really need to move...

Went to Kaiser today to have my blood drawn since their system was down on Wednesday. In and out in 20 minutes, even with them draining what felt like half the blood in my body. I think I will always go on the weekend now to avoid the crowds.

Well I didn't get the bad news I was expecting at the doctor this morning, so that means testing continues to find out what's wrong. Yay?

Got another round of laundry done today and I'm making progress on the pile. I hope the shots I got in my knees 2 weeks ago hold out for a few more weeks so I can get more done.

Just had a pretty "shakey" earthquake here in the Bay Area. Looks like it was near Dublin in the East Bay, but the shaking on the west side of SF was significant.

I just tripped on my shoe (that I am wearing!) and went down hard on my hip. I'm fine, but sure I'll have a nice bruise tomorrow. Apparently it was loud enough to scare my downstairs neighbors, who came up to check on me. Nice to know they are paying attention. Getting old sucks!

Just had a massive panic attack. This stress is going to do me in long before I get evicted unless I figure something out. Gonna watch some TV to try and calm my mind.

Sort of hoping for a bad medical diagnosis after my doctor's appointment this morning because that would allow me to access the catastrophic illness insurance I pay for through work. I could use some of that cash to pay off the crap dragging me down. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looking for loan shark recommendations here in San Francisco. Just kidding. (Not kidding 😬)

Nothing quite like having giant needles inserted into the joints of your knees, even if the P.A. doing it has a light touch.

Anyone have a spare $10,000 just lying around that they could loan me? It's either that or I need to win the lottery to pay off this crap I'm currently paying every payday. Then I could actually live on my take-home pay. Oh, well.
