35 years ago today the first John Peel Session from RIDE was broadcast on Radio 1. Recorded on Feb 4th it included three new songs and a Pale Saints cover. Like A Daydream Dreams Burn Down Perfect Time Sight Of You All tracks were later featured on the Waves BBC Sessions album.

10 years ago today Mark and Andy played London’s 100 Club as part of a series of events for Warchild. It was their first live appearance since announcing the Ride reunion.

On this date in 1990 the Ride EP tour hit Cambridge where they played a packed Sea Cadets Hall. Chris Roberts reviewed the gig for Melody Maker where he describes them as “greater than great”. ride.band/1990/02/17/s...

Released on this date in 2018 was the Tomorrow's Shore EP featuring the previously available Pulsar plus three brand new tracks. RIDE celebrated the release by returning to the ULU for a sold out gig the same day.

Five years ago today RIDE played the final night of their This Is Not A Safe Place tour in Paris. It was to be their last gig for two years due to covid restrictions.
