Jupiter last night with good seeing. We can see the GRS, Ío (almost hidden a little higher to the left of the GRS) and its shadow. Also, in the upper left quadrant I can see a whitish line, I wonder if it's another outbreak that I wasn't aware of, let's see if anyone can help me. #astrophotography

The Deer Lick group. This beautiful little cluster of galaxies gives a handy perspective on cosmic distance. The larger galaxy, NGC7331 is 40 million light years away. The smallers ones in the cluster are likely as large but sit around 300-350 million light years away! Shot from my UK backyard. 🔭
